But Who Am I: Refrain of Moses

“But who am I that I should go to Pharoah____________” Moses asked Yahweh. And Yahweh’s answer led to all these related conclusions:
I am one who walks with God.
I am one with whom God walks.
I am one who keeps God’s company.
I am one who keeps God company.
I am God’s companion.
I am one for whom God is companion. (We “break bread together” literally in holy communion.)
I Am Who I Am has sent me.
I Will Be What I Will Be has sent me.
I am what I am. Echoes of the popular saying now almost a cliche “it is what it is.”
It’s not who I am, anyway, it’s Whose I am.
I am a man of a mighty God, whose name is the perfect sentence: I Am Who I Am.
And that will never be a cliché.
